Origin Argentina Facundo Cabral Singer Shot Dead in Guatemala

Singer from Argentina, Facundo Cabral - one of Latin American music star - died after being shot in Guatemala, Saturday, after unidentified men showered his car with bullets, according to authorities.

Facundo, whose name is famous in the 70s, was killed along with his driver while on his way to the airport, authorities said.

A spokesman from the president of Guatemala, Colom Alvario, said that the vehicle carrying as many as 18 bullets were fired upon Facundo, and Alvaro himself promised to take immediate action to the perpetrators.

"We'll soon find the perpetrators, and immediate justice to them," said Alvaro told Argentine radio station.
